Design Features
The PediaLift Crib™ is loaded with built in design features aimed at making it easy to use and most importantly, safe. With the touch of a button, the PediaLift Crib™ transforms from an ordinary looking crib to a high-tech, Hospital-Grade lifting bed.
The PediaLift Crib™ has been specifically designed for handicapped parents who use wheelchairs. With the PediaLift Crib™ parents using wheelchairs can easily access their children while reducing the risk of falls.
Low to the ground designWhile the PediaLift® is in fact high-tech, infant access device, it has the style and characteristics of modern home furnishings found in nurseries. The product features a low to the ground design that looks like a standard crib. | Infrared RemoteWith the touch of a button, the PediaLift® raises to a level that is most ergonomic for the parent. The system features a wireless infrared remote that is designed to only work with in near proximity to the PediaLift for safety purposes. The PediaLift also features a backup control located on the left side wall. | Elevates for accessThe PediaLift Crib™ quietly elevates to an ergonomic height that allows a wheelchair users to pull up close and transfer the baby without having to bend over and risk becoming unstable. |

Quiet OperationWhile PediaLift® uses dual, high strength lifting columns; you will struggle to even hear the actuators at work. Both the lifting column design and the sliding doors function quietly. The PediaLift was engineered to not wake a sleeping baby. | Auto engaging door slide stopsPediaLift® features auto engaging, sliding door stops. These door stops fall into a pocket contour on the front slide rail whenever the doors are closed. This simple yet effective design offers a redundancy in the door lock system. To open the doors, first release the draw latch and then lift the sliding door latch up and slide the door open. | Primary draw latchPediaLift® features an access control system to minimize unwanted access (unattended siblings for example). The door locking system features a primary draw latch and auto-engaging sliding door stops. The draw latch can be locked with a key for access control. |

Sliding doorsWhen elevated, the open-air undercarriage design of the PediaLift Crib™ allows a wheelchair user to pull their lap under the structure. The sliding doors are then opened to allow easy and safe access. | The risk of falls is minimized by elevating the transfer surfaces the parent doesn't have to lean forward and compromise their stability. This also allows them to keep both of their hands on the baby at all times. | Collision Reversal SystemThe PediaLift Crib™ features Collision Reversal Technology that continuously monitors changes in loading. If an obstruction is encountered, the lifting columns not only stop, they reverse their direction. |

Roller Bearing GlidesThe PediaLift Crib™ features quiet door slides that utilize stainless steel bearings. Each door features dual redundant safety keeps that prevent the door from dislodging if the slides somehow derailed. | Easy Clean SurfaceThe PediaLift Crib™ was not only designed with close attention to detail, it is finished with a high gloss polish that is easy to clean and safe for children. All surface coatings are lead free. | Redundant SafetyThe PediaLift Crib™ features redundant safety keeps designed to ensure that the sliding doors cannot become dislodged even in the event of roller bearing failure. |
